The Warri traditional rulers council were in the government house to officially intimate the governor of the death of the Olu of Warri and emergence of the Olu designate.
The delegation led by Isaac Jemide at government house, Asaba, governor okowa sympathized with the people of Warri kingdom over the death of the Olu and extolled their continued preservation of the tradition by electing an Olu designate.
The governor promised to be part of the preparation for the final burial rites of the late Olu.
Governor Okowa eulogized the late Olu saying that during his lifetime, he succeeded in taking the Warri kingdom to a respectable status in the country.
